POLICIES

Zersakht recognises its operations directly impact on the natural and human environment and aims through its Environmental Policy and procedures, to continually assess the environmental implications of our activities and actively seek co-operation of clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, and employees in minimising adverse effects.

Our Environmental Management System is designed to comply with the requirements of the BS EN ISO 14001:2015 standard and is appropriate to the nature, scale and environmental impacts of all our activities. Directors, management and supervisory staff have responsibilities for the implementation of this Environmental Policy and will ensure environmental issues are given adequate consideration during all business activities. We are committed to responsibly managing these aspects of our business to avoid, reduce or control pollution and we aim to enhance environmental performances in these areas. We will meet environmental legislative and regulatory requirements and adopt the following initiatives:

• Take environmental and sustainability matters into account when planning our work.
• Have regard to potential risks to the environment and reduce our carbon dioxide emissions generated from our office and transport activities.
• Minimise the amount of waste sent to landfill through commitment to protect our environment. We attempt to minimise waste production at office and onsite by assessing the waste streams from waste generation to disposal. We acknowledge the financial and environmental gains of recycling, reusing and reducing waste.
• Reduce the use of energy, raw materials and waste production whilst increasing biodiversity where opportunities exist, throughout our activities and implementation of our Energy Policy commitments
• We monitor and minimise water consumption at office and on-site and will aim to reuse water wherever possible.
• We will ensure facilities and control mechanisms are applied to the storage, use and disposal of substances at office and on-site that could otherwise cause harm to the environment.
• We timely review our emergency procedures to ensure pollution prevention.
• We will seek to conduct our operations with concern for local residents and stakeholders.
• We work with partners to improve environmental performance taking into consideration the lifecycle of procured products and services. We ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety and environmental legislation and other requirements to which the company subscribes which relate to our environmental aspects. We monitor our success in achieving environmental objectives in respect to the above and we will review this policy annually, continually striving to improve our environmental standards.

Zersakht recognises that our employees are our most valuable asset and that the provision of a safe and healthy working environment is integral to successful business performance and sustained growth. We accept our responsibility to protect the health, safety and welfare of our employees, sub-contractors, visitors and anyone who may be affected by the company’s operations. We shall provide the necessary resources for the successful implementation of our health and safety procedures which will, as a minimum, comply with relevant statutory legislation and conform to OHSAS 18001:2007. The Chief Safety Officer has overall responsibility for ensuring the successful implementation of the health and safety policy and is assisted by Director of Operations and the Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Managers. All levels within our management structure have clear roles and responsibilities for managing Health and Safety, defined within the Systems Manual. It is the express policy of the company to:

• Assess Health and Safety hazards associated with its operations, implement a process of risk assessment and develop controls to minimise the possibility of injury or ill-health to our employees & anyone who may be affected by our operations.
• Promote a vibrant health and safety culture by consultation with, and active involvement of employees or their representatives in identifying risks and agreeing safe control measures.
• Provide plant and equipment that is safe, without risk and is properly maintained.
• Provision of welfare facilities and/or necessary arrangements to access adequate welfare.
• Monitor performance against objectives and publish the results annually in line with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Continually improve the effectiveness of the health and safety management procedures to prevent injury and ill health.
• Provide information, instruction, training and supervision to ensure that personal responsibilities are discharged in a safe, reliable and competent manner.
• Ensure that all employees, subcontractors and visitors are aware of their personal responsibilities.
• Ensure that all employees, subcontractors and visitors are aware of incident reporting procedures.
• Ensure the use, handling, storage and transportation of substances is managed and safe.

The Policy shall be communicated to all persons working for or on behalf of Zersakht will be prominently displayed to ensure all personnel understand Zersakht Engineering commitment to Health and Safety. This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it reflects the organisations current priorities, plans & targets for Health and Safety management.

Zersakht to maintain a Quality Management System which meets the needs and expectations our customers, employees and the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2015. We adopt and implement the quality principle of ‘Right First Time’ during execution of all our contracts. Quality is key to achieving this vision and guides the company to deliver products and services that are safe, compliant and preferred by our customers. To make this a reality, the company adopts a Quality Management System which, as a minimum complies with all relevant statutory legislation, industry best practice and conforms with the requirements of BS EN ISO9001:2015 whilst satisfying client and stakeholder requirements.

We believe that a policy of quality assurance is necessary to guarantee our customers a consistently high level of service that fully meets their requirements. Our Quality Management System has been formulated and will be the main guide to achieving and maintaining a safe and high-quality service.

Our Quality Management System covers all activities of the business as well as organisational and delegation of authority. The system also covers arrangements to audit our activities as well as those of our suppliers and sub-contractors. All personnel are responsible for the quality of their own work and all employees are required to familiarise themselves with the Quality Management Systems and procedures, implementing them throughout our contract operations. The management team shall demonstrate leadership and commitment with respect to the Quality Management System by taking accountability, for the effective integration of the system into the organisations operations, and undertake to provide the resources and training necessary to ensure all obligations under the standard can be met.

Our Quality System deals with problems where they arise, and our people implement the system in an efficient and professional manner. The Quality System will be continually monitored and updated where necessary to ensure it meets the company’s commitment to quality.

This Quality Policy will be prominently displayed ensuring all personnel understand the quality aims outlined in Quality Management Plans, and the management team of Zersakht is committed to continuously improve the Quality Management System, and by doing so improve the service offered by the company. The management team will clearly define quality objectives and ensure their continuing relevancy. This policy is reviewed annually to ensure it remains relevant and appropriate to our activities. This Policy will be made available to all interested parties, where required and on request.
